Nadia Brennan
Career coaching for people ready to change direction
I spent eleven years running operations at a regional hospital: rotas, budgets, a new outpatient wing and a great many difficult conversations about who does what. The part I was good at, and liked, was helping people work out the job they actually wanted next. In 2019 I left to do that full time.
Most people I work with are between 35 and 55. They are good at their jobs and tired of them, or newly restless after a promotion, a move or a long leave. Some know exactly what they want and need a plan. Most do not, and that is where we start.
I work in person, walking the shore path along Lake Champlain, or by video for clients elsewhere. Walking helps. People say things side by side that they would not say across a desk, and an hour outside is easier to protect in a busy week than an hour in an office.
I take no more than twelve programme clients at a time, so there is room between sessions to read what you send me and reply properly.

From clients
I came in wanting to leave nursing management. I left with a job in clinical education that I had never thought to look at.
One session, one page of notes, and I finally turned the offer down. The best ninety minutes I spent that year.
The practice interviews were harder than the real one. I got the job.
